LEGEND is coming to Half-Way Motors!
Big News on the Water
Half-Way Motors Powersports is officially a Legend Boats dealer! For years, Norm's Boating Centre was the place to go for Legend in our region. Now that Norm has headed into a well-earned retirement, we're proud to carry the torch.
We know a lot of local boaters have trusted Legend for years. Our job is to make sure that trust has a home right here in Thunder Bay for many seasons to come.
A Northern Ontario Brand for Northern Ontario Water
This one means a lot to us. Legend Boats are built in Whitefish, just outside Sudbury. That's Northern Ontario through and through, and it shows in boats that are made for the lakes, rivers and weather we deal with up here.
We're honoured to keep a homegrown brand like this going in our region. When you buy a Legend from us, you're supporting a Northern Ontario manufacturer and a local dealership at the same time.
Taken Care of the Whole Way Through
Buying a boat should be the fun part, and we plan to keep it that way. Our trained sales team will help you find the right Legend for how you actually use the water, whether that's chasing walleye at sunrise or cruising with the whole family.
After you drive away, our service team has your back. From your first tune-up to getting your boat ready for next season, you'll be taken care of from the showroom to the shoreline.
Why Legend Boats?
Legend has been building boats since 1986. It grew out of a business two Sudbury-area families started back in 1968, and today it's run by the founders' sons. Here's what sets them apart:
- Built tough. Legend builds aluminum fishing, ski, cruise, deck and pontoon boats. They were the first to use thicker .100 gauge aluminum across their entire lineup.
- Smart design. Legend introduced features like rounded glass windshields, full stand-up tops and a convertible rear bench seat.
- Honest pricing. Legend was the first Canadian boat builder to offer package pricing and publish its prices. Their All-In pricing means no surprise fees, with weekly payment options available.
- The WOWranty. Every Legend comes with a 6-year warranty, so you can spend more time on the water and less time worrying.
- Trusted across Canada. Legend is one of the country's largest boat companies, with more than 60 dealers coast to coast.
Most of all, Legend is about creating memories. First fish, first tube ride, long summer days with the people you love. That's what a boat is really for.
